Ho Kin Chung heads the Environmental Studies Programme at the Open University of Hong Kong. Besides his primary interests in red tides and phytoplankton ecology, he is involved in a wide spectrum of research projects including water quality monitoring, sewage and effluent treatment, environmental legislation and management, environmental ethics and polar ecological research.
